Anniversary menu at Gverović-Orsan brings together authentic Dalmatian cuisine, signature flavours and 60 years of tradition in a special 3-course seaside dining experience near Dubrovnik.

Some restaurants simply serve food. However, others, like us, create memories that stay with people for years.

For six decades, our restaurant Gverović-Orsan has welcomed guests with authentic Dalmatian cuisine, warm hospitality and one of the most beautiful seaside settings near Dubrovnik. Throughout the years, generations of travellers, locals, families and friends have gathered around our tables, sharing seafood, wine, sunsets and conversations that stretched long into the evening. As a result, countless guests now associate Gverović-Orsan not only with exceptional food, but also with unforgettable moments by the sea.

This year, we proudly celebrate 60th anniversary.

To mark the occasion, we created a special anniversary menu that brings together tradition, signature flavours and dishes deeply connected to our story.

Anniversary menu: a celebration of Dalmatian tradition

Rather than creating something modern or overly complicated, we chose to honour the dishes our guests return for again and again.

As a result, the anniversary menu reflects the essence of Dalmatian dining: fresh ingredients, beautiful flavours and recipes that never go out of style.

Until July 1st, our guests can enjoy a carefully selected 3-course birthday menu for 60€.

Starter – choose one:

  • fish salad
  • octopus salad
  • carpaccio

Main course:

  • black risotto “Orsan”

Dessert:

  • traditional Dubrovnik rozata

The black risotto that became part of the story

At the heart of the menu stands our famous black risotto “Orsan”.

Rich, creamy and full of Adriatic flavour, this dish has gradually become one of the true symbols of Gverović-Orsan. Over the years, guests from around the world have continued to return for it. While many still describe it as the meal they remember most from Dubrovnik.

Prepared with respect for tradition and fresh local ingredients, the risotto captures everything Dalmatian cuisine represents: simplicity, depth of flavour and connection to the sea.

A sweet Dubrovnik ending

Finally, to complete the experience, guests can enjoy Dubrovnik rozata, one of the region’s most beloved traditional desserts.

Smooth, delicate and lightly scented, rozata brings a taste of Dubrovnik’s culinary heritage to the table while elegantly closing the menu in the most authentic way possible.
